Day hike on one of my favorite trails

Spring is definitely making an effort but the heavy winter snows are not giving up easily. I went specifically to look for antler sheds as I found a number of good ones on this trail last year. I think the rodents have beat me to them though. Lots of rubs from the area and tons of deer.

    Springtime! Did you wear the Frost River Pack? How is it working?

    I sure did and it's working out very well. I made some modifications to the belt and had Frost River add a sternum strap. I'll be doing an update on the pack soon, so far I find no fault and have nothing but praise for it!
