I leave again tomorrow, and wanted one more day in the woods before I depart.
Nothing out of the ordinary, just enjoying the tranquility of winter in a shelter doing some fire prep and a biscuit in a cup, thanks for that IA Woodsman, turned out pretty good.
Oh, and there's a bit of bacon...
I'm off to work for the rest of this week with more travel right after. So this will likely be it for a while. I enjoyed the time I had, grateful for it.
Thanks for looking.
Cool stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou should do something with visual media. You have an eye for images, composition and appealing angles while shooting or filming.
Thanks for sharing and a safe trip, Jim.
Did you get the book yet?
Thanks.
DeleteNo, not yet, yesterday was a holiday and the post did not run. Will let you know when it does.
Thanks again.
Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteDiscovery Channel needs to elect you as the next "man up" since Cody is gone. You take bushcraft to a new level!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat blade, but you had me at bacon. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteThanks Aggie!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the replacement stem for your corncob? I put a replacement Missouri Meerschaum stem in mine yesterday and cracked it on the first bow.
ReplyDeleteNice site Man
Jim (sneakbox on BushcraftUSA)
That one came that way as a gift from a friend, I'm not sure where he got it from. Sorry to hear you cracked yours. I haven't had to replace stems yet, mostly because I'm a moron and keep using them even when they're in sad states.
DeleteOk man..I've been looking over your amazing photography! what is your secret? and..I love your pup..we have two yellow labs but are Tres Grandez dog lovers..
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's me, it's the subject matter. Hard to screw it up when it looks good to begin with! Thanks for the kind words friend.
